Salsa
A friend found this recipe and we tried it out last year. We enjoyed it, and varied the spicy-ness with different jalapeno peppers.
| 8 | c | Tomato, peeled and chopped |
| 2 1/2 | c | Onion - chopped |
| 1 1/2 | c | Green Pepper |
| 1 | c | Jalapeno, chopped |
| 3 | Tbsp | garlic |
| 2 | tsp | cumin |
| 1/8 | c | Salt |
| 1/3 | c | Vinegar |
| 15 | oz | Tomato Sauce |
| 12 | oz | Tomato Paste |
| 1/4 | c | Cilantro |
Combine all ingredients in a large pot. I use an immersion (stick) blender to combine ingredients smoothly. Leave as choppy as you want. Boil 10 minutes.
Process in water bath canner according to directions.
